2. Camera and Photo Access

YuzhaLink may request camera or photo permissions for the following purposes:

2.1 QR Code Scanning

  • Used solely for adding or configuring aquarium devices.
  • No biometric analysis or face recognition is performed.

2.2 Optional Aquarium Photos

  • You may take or upload photos to set tank cover images or track aquarium status.
  • These photos are stored only for app features and are never sold to third parties.

2.3 Photo Library Access

  • We only access the specific photos you manually select — we do not scan your entire gallery.
  • We do not use image data for advertising, profiling, biometric identification, or unrelated purposes.

3. Location and Bluetooth Permissions

3.1 Location

Required primarily by certain Android versions to enable:

  • Bluetooth scanning
  • Wi-Fi provisioning

Used only for discovering and configuring aquarium devices — not for tracking your movements.

3.2 Bluetooth

Used to:

  • Discover compatible aquarium devices
  • Connect, configure, and control equipment
  • Sync data between devices and cloud

We do not collect Bluetooth data for non-device-related purposes.

4. Device & Sensor Data

When your aquarium devices connect to YuzhaLink, we may process:

  • Device identifiers
  • Configuration settings
  • Sensor data (temperature, pH, water level, ORP, conductivity, etc.)
  • Operation logs

Used exclusively to:

  • Display real-time and historical charts
  • Enable automation and alerts
  • Diagnose performance issues
  • Improve system reliability

We never sell sensor or device data.

  • Connect and control aquarium devices

Ways to delete data:

We will delete your data within 30 days unless retained for legal obligations.

However, no electronic transmission is 100% secure.
