Start here when something goes wrong. For pairing failure messages, you can also revisit the "Success and failure" section in Add a Device & Wi-Fi Setup.

Pairing

Q: The QR code won't scan / never recognizes?

  • Get closer, square up the code, avoid glare and dim light;
  • Codes on curved packaging are harder — try several angles;
  • Still no luck? Tap "Try adding manually" on screen and use the manual method.

Q: Can't find my device in the scan?

  • Is the device powered on? Is the indicator lit?
  • Is it in pairing mode? Long-press the function button for ~15 s until the indicator blinks;
  • Is the phone's Bluetooth on, and are the permissions granted?
  • Within 1 m of the device is most reliable.

Q: It says I need 2.4GHz Wi-Fi — what now?

  • Devices only support 2.4GHz. Tap refresh by the Wi-Fi name and pick a network without "5G" in it;
  • If your router merges both bands into one name, temporarily split them in the router, or open a separate 2.4GHz hotspot for pairing.

Q: Pairing stalls at "Verify connection" or says online timeout?

  • Usually a weak network or a wrong Wi-Fi password;
  • Tap "Keep waiting" to give it more time;
  • Still failing: double-check the Wi-Fi password, confirm it's 2.4GHz, move the device closer to the router, and retry.

Q: It says "Device already bound"?

  • The device is still bound to someone else's account (or another of yours). Unbind it on the original account first, then add it here; for second-hand devices, ask the seller to unbind.

Q: It says "Too many activation attempts"?

  • Too many tries in a short time tripped a protection. Just wait a bit and try again.

Account

Q: Not receiving the email verification code?

  • Check your spam / promotions folder;
  • Make sure the email address is correct;
  • Resend after the 60-second countdown ends.

Q: Is my data still there after signing out?

  • Yes. Signing out only logs you out; sign back in and everything's there.

Q: Can a deleted account be recovered?

  • No. Deletion is permanent and irreversible — proceed carefully.

Automation

Q: An automation didn't run on time / isn't working?

  • Check whether it's disabled (the card switch is off);
  • Imported automations are disabled by default and need enabling;
  • A device it needs went offline — the card shows "Device offline, automation paused", and it resumes once the device is back;
  • A recommended template won't run while it's missing required devices — bind them as prompted (see Add a Device & Wi-Fi Setup).

Q: I can't find automation under the bottom "Discover" tab?

  • Automation is not under "Discover" — it's on each tank's detail page, see Automation.

Usage

Q: How far back can I view history?

  • Time ranges include "Last 1 hour / 24 hours / 7 days / 30 days" shortcuts; a custom range is at most 30 days per query, and the calendar goes back about 1 year.

Q: How do I keep automation from interfering while changing/cleaning the tank?

  • Use Maintenance mode: tank detail page top "Maintenance" → choose a duration → start; the whole tank's automation pauses, resumes automatically when time's up, and can be canceled or extended (see Daily Use).

Q: How do I see what's been done to this tank recently?

  • Check the operation log: tank detail page menu → Operation log; both manual actions and automation triggers leave a trail (see Daily Use).
